The Old Country Church

A place of faith, music, and community in the Hamilton Cross Roads area near Brundidge, Alabama.

The name our father gave it.

Our father called it the Old Country Church, and that name remains part of the way our family understands the property.

According to family history, the building was the original Church of Christ serving Hamilton Cross Roads and also hosted a singing school. That combination of worship, music, and community gives the building a special place in the Pine & Vine story.

Historical note: These details currently reflect family oral history. Pine & Vine intends to continue researching church records, deeds, maps, newspapers, photographs, and local accounts.
